Security System Engineer - Kroll - Seattle, WA

Works with Kroll clients to design and plan physical and electronic security systems.



Conducts field surveys and interviews to determine design requirements.



Prepares design drawings and specifications for security systems.



Coordinates design requirements with engineers, architects, contractors and other members of the design and construction team.



Prepares cost estimates and construction schedules.



Supervises CAD technicians and other security engineers.



Conducts final acceptance tests of security systems and prepares punch-list of deficiencies.



Provides general security consultation to clients as required.



Assists other KSA technical and operational consultants as required.





Bachelor Science Electrical Engineering, or equivalent license and education.




Advanced degree/coursework preferred.




Previous experience installing integrated electronic security systems required.




Strong knowledge of basic electronics and electrical circuits.




Good verbal and written communications skills, previous supervisory and management skills.




Demonstrated excellent computer skills with ability to use Microsoft Office software.




Ability to read and interpret architectural and electrical design drawings.




Project or construction management skills, experience in building construction.




Graduate Electrical Engineer/Licensed Professional Engineer.
