Senior Business Consultant

We are currently seeking a Senior Business Consultant to be responsible for providing overall support for the senior vice president in charge of Corporate Benefit Funding (CBF). Position includes planning coordination, project management of organizational initiatives, coordination and drafting of major communications/presentations, meeting and event planning, support of Human Resource objectives and ad hock special projects with high level of analytical skills required.


Principal Responsibilities:

 

1. Assist svp in planning for CBF, which may include business objectives, performance measures, organizational structures, and research of potential new growth opportunities.

 

 2. Project manage initiatives on behalf of the svp for all of his direct reports and their respective divisions within CBF. Ensure that deadlines are met, follow up on deliverables, and coordinate feedback in order to present it in a unified manor that best reflects the overall objectives of CBF.

 

3. Coordinate all communications on behalf of svp. Draft and edit announcements and presentations that are directed to many audiences, both internal and external.

 

4. Plan and facilitate meetings and events, which includes handling the logistics, creating the agenda, and tracking the deliverables.

 

5. Support svp in a number of Human Resource initiatives and processes, such as interpretation of Gallup survey results.

 

6. Responsible for special projects that may include working as a liaison between other divisions both inside and outside of CBF.

3. Understanding of financial data and how to create appropriate reports, etc.

 

4. Sound judgment, professionalism and discretion due to confidential nature of information.

 

5. Knowledge of MetLife organization.
