Senior Security Services Assistant

Functional Responsibilities include performance in areas such as: Assisting personnel in researching, coordinating, monitoring, tracking, and preparing activities and reports related to the security clearance and adjudication process. Assisting security specialists in monitoring and tracking security violations, industrial security data, and facilities protection material, and maintaining a viable database of such materials. Analyzing reports to determine trends, patterns, and systemic problems associated with departmental security, industrial security, and facilities protection programs. Maintaining program operation flow charts and documents required to process investigations and adjudicate security clearances. Maintaining up to date files of classified documents and posting changes as required for all security materials. Maintaining log-in/log-out of incoming/outgoing information and ensuring retrievability of security clearance information in response to internal/external requests. Assisting security specialists in researching, preparing, coordinating, delivering, and following up on actions related to information security/facility protection matters. Maintaining computerized status accounting records and related materials, including regulations and procedures concerning personnel security and industrial security clearances. Perparing statistical reports on program operations. Researching and recommending resolution of invoicing/payment discrepancies pertaining to procurement of security-related services and equipment. Coordinating with financial analysts, program managers, vendor claims persons, and vendors as required. Supervising work fo other Security Services Assistants as required. Qualifications :
Associates Degree or completion of two year business or security related school plus four years experience in business or security discipline. Five years of related experience may be substituted for the degree or school requirement. Candidate must have a top secret security clearance.
