SmartSpace Reservationist/Service Center Representative - Hartford

This position will provide routine reception and concierge tasks such as maintaining the switchboard, meeting/greeting visitors, entering reservations into our Hoteling software and answering the Hoteling hotline.? Will work closely with Service Center personnel to ensure they are aware of new arrivals and departures.

Responsibilities will include the following:

- Provide a consistent cheerful
and professional welcome to visitors
- Maintain switchboard and transfer calls accordingly
- Input reservation requests in to Agilquest software
- Maintain Hoteling hotline and make reservations accordingly
- Respond and follow-up on all Hoteling requests in a timely and efficient manner
- Responsible for updating Agilquest software with changes such as New Hires/Terminations
- Generate overnight reservation report immediately at start of the day and periodically, as required, to support reservation changes
- Responsible for generating weekly "Guest" log reports
- Responsible for P-card, RFP's and accounts payable issues
- "Guest Relations" functions which include providing a list of local restaurants, neighborhood services or other amenities, as may be offered
- Responsible for all catering needs for conference center
- High School Diploma with three years experience in a service environment
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and
the Internet
