Job Description: The Reservation Associate manages and schedules reservations for video conference appointments in a professional manner while providing information relative to a range of products to potential and existing customers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Answer phone and make reservations for customers in a courteous and professional manner
Provide customers with information regarding video conferencing services and available room locations
Return inquiry calls promptly
Schedule videoconferences, creating and confirming reservations using software tools such as FileMaker Pro and Adobe Acrobat Distiller and Reader
Keep informed about and answer questions related to scheduling issues such as time zones, customer requirements, system requirements, room or system capacities, and set-up times
Track all customer interaction in company database, performing tasks in short time frames with accuracy and professionalism
Learn general capabilities of video conferencing hardware for point-to-point and multi-point conferences
Create and maintain video communication service schedules, opening and closing work orders
Inform colleagues of additional customer opportunities related to other company products
Ensure high standards of professionalism are maintained at all times
Requirements/Qualifications:
Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Adobe Acrobat, and Data Entry
Experience with FileMaker Pro a plus
Demonstrated proficiency answering phones
Experience with video communications a plus
Superior communication skills, both written and verbal, with a commitment to excellence and high standards
Foreign language skills desirable
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills with the ability to manage priorities and workflow
Ability to work independently as well as a member of various teams
Punctuality
Compensation:
$12.00 to $15.00 per hour
