JOB OVERVIEW:
Located in Charlotte, North Carolina, the Administrative Assistant for our Special Events & Campaigns program will be reporting directly to the Director of Development - Western Region. The Administrative Assistant is part of the Development Team which furthers the fund raising, program, public relations and public education goals of Easter Seals UCP North Carolina.
This position is responsible for administrative, special events and campaign assistance to the Director or Development and development staff. This position will: Maintain an accurate and current database, accurately record gift information, produce letters for donors; produce reports relating to individual, corporate, foundation and special events giving; maintain office files; perform routine clerical tasks.
Job Qualifications:
HS diploma with 2-3 years related experience. Strong computer knowledge, database management experience, skills in Microsoft applications a must.Night and weekend work as necessary and some travel.The Administrative Assistant must also have an outgoing personality with excellent public relations and customer service skills, be able to multi-task effectively and work well under pressure. This person must have high-energy, exercise sound judgment, and exhibit a high level of professionalism and courteousness at all times. Excellent written and oral communication skills are critical.
