Join one of the hottest Atlanta based companies in retail franchising today! FOCUS Brands is the owner and franchisor of over 1,300 stores, bakeries and cafes under the brands: Carvel? Ice Cream, Cinnabon? and Seattle?s Best Coffee?.
In this role you will be responsible for administrative, clerical, and candidate support for the Managing Director, International Franchise Development on an exceptionally large scale around the globe while contributing to the overall success and growth of the FOCUS Brands Inc. International Development effort. The position involves all current Focus Brands.
Duties include:
? Prepares, coordinates, and distributes all communications necessary to achieve department goals within the company and externally to Franchise Candidates internationally.
? Coordinates and assists in the area of International Lead Generation ? Teams with Lead Generation Specialist to do so.
? Serves as the initial and ongoing point of contact for all International Candidates.
? Communicates with existing International Franchisee?s relative to ongoing development and expanded opportunity as instructed.
? Handles incoming inquiries and calls in a professional manner, screening and redirecting calls when appropriate.
? Manages the Sales Logix Database for International Candidates and completes initial fulfillment requirements.
? Sorts, prioritizes and distributes mail and faxes.
? Teams with Franchise Administration on document preparation follow up.
? Organizes, plans, and coordinates International development events e.g. Trade Shows, Seminars, Marketing opportunities, etc. Is available to travel internationally, when necessary, to facilitate and assist at these events.
? Compiles Country and Market research where required and appropriate under the direction of the Managing Director.
? Writes correspondence to various constituents related to the International Development effort with particular attention to International Franchise Candidates, suppliers, consultants, etc.
? Assists with the development of PowerPoint presentations and the dissemination of information to Franchise Candidates as well as existing International Franchisees.
? Provides management for any International brokers and administers a broker management program.
? Manages the schedule, plans meetings, and books travel for the Managing Director, International Development.
? Maintains accurate and complete files relative to all International transactions and assembles data packages for review.
? Assists in the development and dissemination of various spreadsheets, reports, and related information to the International Development effort. Manages the International Pipeline Report.
? Coordinates the Franchise Candidate Orientation Program (F.C.O.P.) and assists candidates with arrangements for attending same.
? Teams with the those members of the International Operations division on follow up for approved candidate NFOP?s, training, and final International Development hand off activities. Maintains an open line of communication to gauge new franchisee satisfaction regarding operational service levels and follow up.
Teams with the Legal Department, when directed, with emphasis on International Disclosure, Trademark, Trade Dress, and registration issues.
For this position, the following knowledge and skills are required:
? Associate degree preferred; Two to three years of administrative and/or sales development experience preferred.
? International quick service, franchise sales and marketing, hospitality industry and/or ?treat? segment experience a plus.
? Excellent interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to be flexible and effectively work with others as a team.
? Possesses a high degree of drive with a proven track record of achieving results.
? Excellent communication, organization and problem solving skills.
? Demonstrated track record for flexibility and urgency in prioritizing and organizing projects coupled with rapid responses
? Proficiency in computer skills, i.e. back office systems, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
? ?Global? perspective with the ability to work with those of different cultures and backgrounds while being mindful and aware of International subtleties.
High level of tolerance regarding language related challenges. Multi-lingual a plus.
