Sr. Administrative Assistant/Legal Secretary

We currently have an opening for a Sr. Administrative Assistant in our Legal Department based in our Corporate Office in Irving, Texas. The responsibilities of this position include:



Type correspondence and SEC documents.Cover departmental phones.Process departmental bills and invoices, and monitor/maintain departmental budget.Maintain departmental files.Set up meetings/telephone conference calls.Arrange travel plans and itineraries.Create stock option contracts and maintain list of eligible employees.Create stock grant contracts and monitor vesting.Type draft and final copy for proxy card and proxy statement.Fill requests from interested investors, brokers, and analysts for annual reports, 10-K, 10-Q, and quarterly reports.File SEC forms for Executive Officers within the company.Assist in preparation of routine filings.Work with Stock Brokers when employees wish to exercise options, create and monitor paperwork to exercise options.

Qualifications include:
Minimum of 5 year's secretarial experience in a corporate or law firm environment or equivalent.Proficient in Windows XP, Word Perfect, MS Word and Excel, and Access. Knowledge of SEC filing software helpful, i.e., Edgar/Romeo and Dye.
Typing 70 wpm. Ability to create spreadsheets and graphs to illustrate various projects.Must be a self starter and work with moderate supervision. Requires close attention to detail and an ability to handle pressure, meet deadlines and organize work tasks.Must be very well organized and able to succeed in fast paced environment.
