IDS Engineering's Mechanical Engineering Directorate (MED) leads in mechanical hardware design, development and production of radar, sonar, torpedo and combat system equipment. The MED uses state-of-the-art tools, processes technology and Raytheon Six Sigma principles.

Job Description: Responsible for schematic new product documentation based on customer descriptions and / or specifications. Tasks include schematic capture and documentation for all levels of complex electronic systems including various types of Circuit Card Assemblies.

Required Skills: Create schematic drawings using Mentor Graphics Board station DA LMS, working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and good communication skills working in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. Applicants must know ANSI Y32.2, ANSI Y14.15, Schematic Flow, schematic partitioning for complex electronic systems, schematic symbols and a familiarity with RF, Digital and Analog circuitry. A desire to learn Raytheon?s internal Project Drafting Specifications is required.

Desired Skills: Experience with Mentor Board Station Design Architect for PWB design and a familiarity with the complete Printed wiring board design and manufacturing process.

Required Education(including Major): Engineering Associates Degree or equivalent.
