Staff Bookkeeper/Accounts Payable

 

Dynamic, high-tech Midtown Manhattan accounting firm seeks a Staff Bookkeeper.

 

Key Roles & Responsibilities Input of accounts payable and accounts receivables Cash receipts/cash disbursements Bank reconciliations A/R and A/P reconciliations Validate and pay bills in timely manner with a focus on accuracy. Understand all accounting systems (A/R, A/P, GL, and payroll).

 

RequirementsKnowledge of QuickBooks Computer savvy Proficient Microsoft Windows skills (Outlook, Word, Excel) Self-starter with the ability to work independently Team player Strong communication skills Assertive, ability to handle demanding situations with diplomacy Commitment to excellence 2+ years experience in bookkeeping/accounting Degree preferred, but not required
