Pearson Prentice Hall, the leading publisher of Grades 6-12 educational materials, has an opportunity available for Textbook Adoption Administrator to join our team of publishing professionals in our Boston, MA office. Primary responsibilities include:

'' Prepares and executes State/Local adoption intents, bids and contracts for Pearson Prentice Hall School Division
'' Coordinates submission sampling, maintains all records and documentation related to the bids and contracts
'' Services all contractual factions during the term of the adoption
'' Works closely with the District Manager and State Department Textbook Administrator
'' Will be responsible for Indiana, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Virginia
'' Working closely with internal departments such as Sales, Marketing and Editorial in an effort to meet the needs of each state''s educational curriculum




Qualifications and Requirements:
The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in an administrative role, have the ability to manage several projects simultaneously and be able to succeed in a deadline driven environment. Knowledge of contract procedures preferred. Excellent computer skills including Word, Excel and Access, as well as exceptional communication skills are a must. Candidate should be detail-oriented and able to work cooperatively with peers. A minimum 2 years post secondary education required; BA preferable.
