Position Description:

Chevron Global Downstream ? Supply & Trading is accepting online applications for a Stock Controller (0608-50098403) located in Houston, Texas through August 27, 2006.

Responsibilities include a wide range of activities including invoicing and stock control functions for Global Aviation. This position requires interaction with the Stock Control Supervisor, Customer Support Manager, Operations Manager, Regional/Area Managers, terminal personnel, Supply personnel and airport operators/agents to discuss and resolve inventory issues as well as interaction with other accounting functions within Chevron.

Qualifications:

- Responsible for invoicing and stock control function for Global Aviation.

- Responsible for using all invoicing and reporting systems used in Commercial and General Aviation including SAP, OnDemand, TICIT and CIRCA. Responsible for reviewing and improving all processes used by Stock Control to ensure efficiency, accuracy and reliability.

- Controls the accuracy of sales ticket capture for domestic and international sales of jet fuel into the TICIT tool.

- Handles exception processing for domestic and international sales.

- Understands and documents supply/transport arrangements, airport facility product flows/storage, and the roles/responsibilities of airport/transport entities for each airport location.

- Computes sales/receipts/metered volumes/net and gross differences by airport location to ?rack balance? back to airport agent reports. Confirms accuracy of tank inventory volumes on agent reports by comparing to computed airport tank inventories. Utilizes reports from various systems to retrieve data for balancing purposes.

- Monitors inventory gains/losses monthly for all airport locations. Closes inventories, reconciling to agent reports. Researches/Explains/Documents all differences, and corrects if due to input errors.

- Analyzes all regional sales/receipt/inventory data for out-of-tolerance airport locations at the end of each month. Resolves discrepancies between terminal data and airline agent data with terminal personnel and agents.

- Processes manual buybacks and service fees to dealers: credits dealer accounts, and charges their sales and into-plane fees to airline customers. Works with Alliance Program leadership to assist customers with Alliance program implementation to automate buy-back process.

- Customer service: resolves agent inquires; traces agents for missing tickets to ensure timely data capture of sales, handles internal inquiries typically as a result of airline customer queries, handles projects associated with audits and disputes.

SPECIAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS OR ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS/INFORMATION:

- Bachelor?s degree preferred in Accounting.
