Subcontracts Specialist

Minimum qualifications:
Ideal candidate shall possess a High School diploma, AA degree preferred, plus two (2) to four (4) years of experience in subcontracts, purchasing, or contracts. must be able to obtain a security clearance. Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Candidate Must Possess the Following Skills:
Costpoint maintenance and reconciliation interface with all LSG programs to facilitate approval of invoices and tracking of invoices. Interface with engineering and quality when required to resolve issues with respect to invoices. Data entry. Experience supporting external and internal audits.

Duties Specific to the Position:
Prepares Subcontract and Purchase Order correspondence, tracking and reconciliation between Costpoint and the subcontract, including modifications, and resolution of open commitments and invoice coding. performs report analysis and special projects in support of internal and external audits, as well as departmental reports and database creation and management. Assists Subcontract Administrators in the preparation of audit packages. Prepares regular and periodic status reports and modification summary forms. Regularly uses a variety of software packages in performing database management, spreadsheet reconciliation, and word processing documentation. Assists in production of proposals for delivery to the Government and commercial clients and subcontractors. Maintains subcontracts library systems for retrieval/filing of data, documents and correspondence. Works with Subcontracts Administrators to ensure utility and efficiency of filing systems and databases. Regularly uses computers and variety of general office machines in performing administrative duties. Reproduces and collates documents and reports as required. Skilled in the use of Microsoft Word, Access and Excel software, typewriter, facsimile, and copy machines. Deltek/Costpoint experience desired. Possess good interpersonal skills. Ability to work well with all levels of professional personnel and to interface effectively with peers and customer representatives. Must work well in high stress, tight deadline situations and maintain effective written and verbal communication and work relationships with a wide variety of administrative, engineering, and management personnel. Possess good organizational skills including spelling, grammar, dictation, and accurate and efficient typing. Other duties as assigned.
