Supervisor, Sales Coordinator

Essential Functions:
Primary:Plan, organize and delegate the responsibilities for the successful operation of the department.Provide regular and timely feedback that recognizes performance, motivate employees and promote self-development.Coordinate problem solving when necessary relating to sales invoicing.Process sales and RPO lease agreements for Southern Nevada sales and rental.Reservations and holds in DBSOutside vendor coordination ie; radio install, tire repair, freight.Obtain CAT warranty and equipment protection insurance quotes.Maintain equipment inventory files and corporate sales archives.Maintenance of Caterpillar sales brochures.Miscellaneous administrative projects and reports to managers.Communicate effectively and actively seek and provide feedback.Select, train and develop employees consistent with department/division goals.Provide support and construct reports for Sales Manager.
Secondary:.Code vendor invoices for payment.Arrange freight as needed.Act as liaison with other departments for requests, problem solving and control status of requests.Adhere to company policies, procedures and practices. Must use all safety equipment necessary. Report any unsafe acts or conditions.
Performance Standards:Achieve company goals of customer satisfaction, market dominance and profitability through leadership qualities demonstrated, timely employee feedback and development of staff.Achieve high quality service standards and consistent cost controls.Effectively work as a team member, assisting where appropriate and requesting assistance when needed..Ensures adherence to company policies, procedures and practices.

Position Specifications:
Education:High school diploma, GED or equivalent.Ability to read and materials commonly used in the sales and product spec-a-logs. Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal form.
Technical Training:Proficient computer technology skills, including ability to utilize company software.
Experience:Minimum of three (3) years experience in a technical or office clerical position with progressive responsibilities.
Work Environment:Office and occasional outside environment with exposure to adverse weather conditions including heat, cold, wind, rain, dust and dirt.Valid Nevada State Drivers License with an acceptable driving record.Occasional travel and overnight stays.
Physical/Mental Abilities:Professional attitude and appearance consistent with position and responsibilities.Self-motivated and detail oriented; able to work with a minimum of supervision.Stand/walk 1-4 hours a day. Sit 5-6 hours a day.Occasionally/frequently lift 10 lbs.Must use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation.Must be able to occasionally bend, squat and climb; including ability to ascend and descend ladders.Must use feet for repetitive movement when operating equipment controls.
