Olympic Health Management
Supervisor, Office Services
Purpose: Supervise, schedule and coordinate the day-to-day functions of the Office Services Department
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Play an active role in the daily activities of the Office Services Department, participating in daily work as well as monitoring service level standards and workflow.
2. Recruit, hire, train and evaluate Office Services staff.
3. Assess departmental functions and operations. Find places to optimize individual, departmental, and organizational productivity.
4. Responsible for department scheduling.
5. Oversee the facilities maintenance function.
6. Supervise the department in the absence of the manager.
7. Other related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Thorough understanding of office procedures and functions
* Able to perform all Office Services functions
* Ability to manage multiple priorities
* Thorough understanding of USPS regulations
* Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to include formal document preparation and verbal presentation experience
* Input, retrieve and compile data utilizing strong personal computer skills
* Strong interpersonal skills
* Good organizational skills
* Ability to work well under various stressful and time sensitive situations
Education and Experience:
* High School Diploma
* Three years of business experience
Desired:
* Experience in, or understanding of, hospitals, healthcare and/or insurance industry.
Essential Functions:
* Manual dexterity in hands to do extensive keyboarding
* Requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time
* Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
* Eyesight required for the ability to view print on a computer screen and/or paper document
Requires the ability to speak and hear to exchange information with customers by telephone
