TECHNICAL RECRUITER

Job Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with little supervision, but also be able to work as a team-member. Day to day you will be responsible for sourcing, screening a hiring of IT professionals on a temp, perm or temp to perm basis.

1. Sourcing:
Utilize internal database and other creative recruiting resources to identify potential candidates.
Place job requirements on the Internet. Identify networking activities such as attending career fairs, professional association meetings, calling on technical schools and out-placement services to increase available candidate pool.

2. Screening:
Responsible for screening candidates to ensure their qualifications meet open positions.
Conduct phone interviews, technical skills testing, office interviews, reference checks and background investigations, Present job opportunities to qualified candidates and negotiate contract terms.

3. Selection/Account Maintenance:
Prepare resumes for presentation to clients and set up interviews.
Build relationships with permanent and contract employees through different activities.

This is an entry-level position and the right candidate will have an opportunity to assist with CCN's continued growth, but also to define and grow their own role based upon the contributions they make and the skills they demonstrate.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate for this position will be a team player with Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent plus six months experience as a Recruiter is a plus. In addition, must be PC literate in Windows environment including, MS Word and Excel, Netscape and Internet. Basic ability to meet deadlines, excellent customer service skills and the ability to interface with all levels of staff and management are required.
