The Chicago office of BDO Seidman, LLP serves a diverse range of private and publicly owned clients, in addition to tax-exempt organizations, including Dealer/Distributor Distribution, Healthcare, Hospitality/Clubs, Manufacturing, Nonprofit, Services and Professional, and Technology.


Key Responsibilities
Primary responsibility of the Tax Professional Assistant is assisting professional staff in all aspects of a tax projects including but not limited to:

Tax Return processing and Due Date Tracking Preparation of proposals, powerpoint presentations, correspondence and other internally prepared documents; Act as an Administrative Assistant for significant team engagements (including but not limited to, photocopying and faxing); Be an active member of the administrative team responsible for variety of office duties including reception, cross training on duties usually performed by others;

Qualifications
Candidates should be:

Highly organized and efficient; Proficient in Excel, Word, and Powerpoint; Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; Possess strong verbal and written skills; and Ability to work under pressure Prior work experience processing tax returns a plus
