The individual in this position will be responsible for the development, maintenance and support of technology solutions including but not limited to Microsoft Access, SQL, VBA and Excel to support the Independence, Ethics and Compliance Group in Wilton.? This includes the routine creation and modification of applications/databases as well as supporting the Business with file /database queries

Additionally, the individual will work with the business owners to define and document business processes and requirements and identify technology solutions to meet the business needs.Develop and update applications for the Independence, Ethics and Compliance Group primarily utilizing MS Access. This will include meeting with various business owners within the Compliance Group to understand business issues and to gather and document business processes and requirements. Perform analysis of requirements and recommend technology solution to meet the business needs.Develop and update applications for the Independence, Ethics and Compliance Group primarily utilizing MS Access. Plan and execute project from inception to completion.
This will include initial project scoping, requirements gathering, development, build, testing and deployment. Throughout the duration of the project, communicate with business owners as to project status and related issues.
Analyze systems or data problems within applications or other systems supporting compliance and assist in resolving them.? Recommend improvements for the processes used to collect, input and maintain data.?
The person in this position will be responsible for the development and maintenance of critical databases and will be working relatively independently under manager/ senior manager/ director level supervision, depending on specific project assignments.? In this environment, he/she will be in contact with a wide variety of Firm partners, employees and others and needs a solid base of experience to be successful.
This person would be responsible for the development and maintenance of applications that are critical to support regulatory and firm compliance requirements.?
Actions necessary in conjunction with reference to the related compliance systems may have a significant impact on the partners and employees of the firm.
The appropriate candidate must possess the ability?to perform logical and physical database design, implement database design enhancements, management of overall database environment including security, and development of database queries/forms/reports/functionality using MS ACCESS, SQL and VBA.
Support technology needs of IEC group including assisting in other technology related projects as required.
Bachelor's degree in business administration or computer information systems, or relevant work experience.? A background in auditing is helpful but not required.
??Advanced skills in Microsoft Access, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio and Word, and in database management techniques with specific, demonstrated competency with SQL Server, Transact SQL, and VBA.?
??Exceptional organizational, analytical, communications and interpersonal
skills.
??Background in Finance would be a plus.

The person will work with one or more individuals who will provide guidance as to the development, analysis and
implementation activities.? Ability to work well as part of a team is essential.
