Trademark and Insurance Coordinator

TONI&GUY / TIGI Linea, a rapidly growing services and product manufacturing company is currently seeking a highly motivated professional for our North Dallas-based office.  The successful candidate will report to the Vice President of Risk Management in day-to-day operations.

 

Duties Include:

 

?  Worldwide Trademarks

a.  Liaison with marketing and graphics for registered marks ? process paperwork.

b.  Trademark infringement issues including litigation research.

c. Update Trademark Status Charts for all countries and Oppositions for all countries as needed.  Report to VP no less than monthly to review the charts and report divergence from precious reports.

d.  Report to the VP monthly status of all Powers of Attorney and Assignment processing status in each country and oppositions / infringement status.

 

?  Process Third-Party Insurance Claims including location incident reports and auto insurance issues to our carrier, create claim file and monitor progress to close each claim as required

a. Monitor Manufacturing Vendors and Suppliers insurance and additional insured status, update and obtain Certificates of Insurance for our records.  File same daily.

b. Monitor Workers Compensation claims and keep the log updated while collaborating with claims adjusters for the most current information.

c. Process Certificates of Insurances for Real Estate Landlords in accordance with the Lease Agreements per location.

 

?  Export Certificates of Insurance preparation as they relate to all International Shipping and Letters of Credit.

?  Ocean Cargo record-keeping compliance for names of Vessels used for international shipping and pertinent information as required by the Insurance Carrier.

?  US Customs Grey Market compliance ? US Customs Trademark Compliance.

?  Travel Insurance Bond.

?  Draft letters and perform various assignments as needed.

?  Filing Daily ? trademark and insurance records to keep all records in file current.

?  Assist VP with routine operations and correspondence as needed.

?  Liaison with VP immediately of any requests for documentation.

 

Requires experience in either insurance coordination or trademarks.  Must have a proven track record of handling multiple projects.  Must be multi-task oriented, with ability to prioritize, and must be detail oriented, organized, and  computer proficient.  Must possess excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
