Training Specialist - Engineering Planner I

Training Administrator : This position will support the Engineering Integrated Learning and Development Program (E-ILDP) for Raytheon?s Integrated Defense Systems. This individual will work directly with the Directorate Training Lead to support the training initiatives of a large software directorate. The Training Administrator will be responsible for scheduling/coordinating/administering classes for a large software directorate and will therefore be the training organization's front-line representative/liaison with our customers, both management and employees. At the direction of the Directorate Training Lead, this person will set up training classes, including managing the reproduction of student/instructor copies of courseware, booking facilities, arranging for communication media and updating the RLA (Raytheon Learning Accelerator) for registration and tracking purposes. In addition to scheduling/coordinating/administering classes, the Training Administrator will also help coordinate other learning activities, such as reviews of training materials and corporate-level training initiatives including the annual Ethics rollout. This position also involves assisting the Directorate Training Lead with the gathering of training metrics and the generation of both basic and customized training reports.



Basic Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of direct related experience in a support role.

Candidate must demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and collaborative skills with the ability to prioritize work within a multi-tasking environment and stay on top of task deadlines.



Knowledge of training process including training goals, class schedule, courseware, Individual Development Plans, class registration and wrap-up is a plus.



Position requires excellent communication skills, superior organization and accuracy, with strong attention to detail and a demonstrated competency with various software tools, including the MS Office Suite.



Required Education: HS Diploma or equivalent



Desired Qualifications:

Proficiency using the RLA and Impromptu is preferred.

Demonstrated experience with a rapid learning curve and ability to work well with minimal supervision.
