Training and Development Coordinator

Constella Group has an exciting opportunity for a Training and Development Coordinator in our Durham, NC office. This position is responsible for running both the daily operations of a growing training department and for seeking ways to continuously improve each function according to the strategic goals of the company. This requires a proactive, energetic mindset, with a keen attention to detail.


Essential Functions:

Training Class Coordination:
Create, assemble and ship training materials for internal classes
Ensure a consistent design across training materials and the documenting of standard operating procedures.
Coordinate with external vendors
Track and monitor class attendance using training database
Communicate regularly with class participants and managers to ensure all classes meet minimum attendance requirements
Set up rooms, etc

Meeting Planning and Coordination:
Plan and coordinate department meetings, conferences, etc., as required

New employee orientation:
Register all new employees for orientation, send out new orientation manuals, ensure orientation is set up at each company location with food, audio/visual equipment, etc.
Secure a presenter for the executive welcome
Send out new employee welcome announcement weekly
Maintain updated materials to reflect organizational changes

E-learning coordination:
Manage new login accounts and expired accounts, track usage, qualify and negotiate with vendors
?
Training library:
Coordinate the checking in and out of all materials and expansion of the current selections
Track usage
Publicize library offerings
?
Tuition reimbursement program:
Manage the reimbursement process and automate where feasible
Track usage
?
Rewards and recognition programs:
Create reward certificates, update Wall of Fame, manage the company store, administer the service award program, coordinate with company store vendor, etc.

General Duties:
?General administrative duties for the department as needed and other duties as defined
Special department projects as needed, including the globalization of the function?s offerings where appropriate

Create processes such that anyone else could step in and do your tasks when needed. Develop back-up support people for when you go on vacation.



Experience and Skills:
Fulltime position- 40 hours, work in the office (Durham-based position)?Minimum 3 years experience coordinating complex training activitiesExceptional organization skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to juggle multiple projects and daily duties simultaneouslyCollege degree is a plus?Expertise with Microsoft Office suiteExperience with databases is a plus
