Translator (Japanese/English)

Futaba Industrial Texas Corp., an on-site automotive manufacturer and supplier for Toyota is currently searching for a Japanese/English Translators.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Position is a liaison between all Japanese speaking employees and those who do not speak Japanese.  Responsible for translating whenever necessary to communicate between departments.  Responsible for ensuring communication barriers do not create misunderstanding between employees.  Requires oral interpretation during meetings and daily conversations between management and team members.  Also responsible for translation of production related documents.  Responsible for arrangement of meetings and distributing notices about meetings.  This position requires regular and reliable attendance to meet production needs.  This position requires following all ISO 14001 and TS16949 standards.  This position also requires compliance with quality standards at all times.  All employees are responsible for wearing all the required Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) necessary for the tasks they are performing and/or the location of the building they are located in. All employees are required to perform any job, task, or duty assigned to them, whether or not it is directly related to their specific job title.

 

 EDUCATION, SKILLS and/or EXPERIENCE

? High school diploma or equivalent

? 1 to 3 years of related work experience
