UCC Clerk

Job Description

The UCC Clerk will be responsible for performing work in two basic phases of contract administration with merchants: In the "search" phase, the UCC Clerk will verify and report on the domestic state of merchants with whom Rewards Network intends to do business and perform and report on UCC searches to verify the status of the UCC positions of our merchants' secured creditors. In the "file/recorded" phase, the UCC Clerk will verify information in Rewards Network contracts with merchants and determine whether or not UCC filings are required, If so, the UCC Clerk will do the necessary filings.

 

Additional duties for the UCC Clerk will include records management relating to UCC Filings, maintenance of a UCC library and web-based document management software, analysis and filing of UCC termination documents upon request, and other duties as may be assigned.

 

Specific Skills Required

Knowledge of and experience with document management software, as well as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet; ability to learn new applications; ability to work in fast-paced, high energy enviroment; strong communication (oral and written), organizaitional and interpersonal skills; ability to prioritize, multitask and problem solve; positive personality.
