Underwriting Service Assistant Positions

AutoOne Insurance is looking for a Underwriting Sevice Assistant & Quality Assurance Service Assistant for our Underwriting Department, in our Melville location. 

 

Underwriting Service Assistant

Individual is responsible to support customer service for both external and internal customers through the fax receipt program which entails sorting, notating, and distributing faxes.  Additional tasks will include copying, word processing functions, and telephone underwriter desk support to assist the department.  Must be organized, have ability to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment.  Accurate typing skills is necessary. Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. High School diploma or GED required. Quality Assurance Service AssistantGreat growth opportunity for the right candidate!  This individual will provide general support to the Quality area while learning the ?how to?s? of QA.  Duties will include, but are not limited to, assembling various training manuals and materials, pulling files and maintaining records.  Individual will learn and become a proficient user of Renaissance and attend training classes on products and functions as business need dictates.  Individual must be flexible and able to work well within a team. Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required.  Minimum 1-2 year clerical work experience is preferred. College degree strongly preferred. COMPANY INFORMATION
