We are currently seeking candidates for a Used Games Assistant position in the Grapevine area.

 

SUMMARY

To assist in reporting, analysis, product allocation, SKU maintenance, data entry, and field communication & coordination throughout Gamestop, Inc. relative to used video game merchandise.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned as business needs require:

? Assist as necessary to ensure the replenishment needs of existing stores and the product needs of new stores are consistently met relative to used merchandise

? Communicate and coordinate with distribution center and field personnel to facilitate used product movement and allocation

? Arrange initial distribution of used product for new store openings

? Manage all reporting related to position

? Flexibility in taking on new assignments, reports & tasks as needed by the department

ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/ABILITIES

? Accurate typing and data entry skills

? Operate a personal computer and use MS Excel/Word/Outlook and required programs.

? Organize, prioritize, and control job responsibilities

? Flexible to adapt to changing priorities and perform basic task work

? Work with minimal supervision

? Perform basic math functions

? Meet deadlines.

? Read and comprehend printed data/information, and data/information displayed on PC monitor.

? Perform basic math functions accurately (add, subtract, multiply, and divide).

? Recognize discrepancies in written/recorded data/information.

? Answer telephone and initiate phone calls in a professional manner.

? Communicate effectively with management, coworkers and store staff.

 

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

? High School Diploma with some college preferred.

? Good working knowledge of video games and general knowledge of the retail gaming industry.

? Excellent verbal and written skills.

? Basic PC knowledge with understanding of MS Outlook, Word and Excel required
