As the Veterinary Hospital Manager, your primary responsibilities are to maximize the medical and financial results of the hospital as well as and ensuring excellent communication with team members and clients.  You will also manage the growth of the hospital and the professional growth of the team members.

In order to accomplish your hospital goals, you will successfully develop an efficient, productive veterinary medical team that provides the highest quality care and service to Pets and clients.  You will ensure that all protocols are followed and focus the team to achieve the practice goals including educating clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventive care, Pet health needs and hospital services to keep Pets healthy.

You will lead the hospital in managing profitability and finances to ensure consistent growth and improvement by participating in strategic planning and budgeting.  In addition, you will also effectively schedule doctors and all other team members to meet client needs.  As the Veterinary Hospital Manager, you will provide inspirational leadership to the team by creating a positive professional relationship with PETsMART associates, adoption center agencies and customers.

Requirements for this position include:

?  Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine (DVM, VMD) or equivalent required

?  Associate?s or Bachelor?s degree, or veterinary technician certification or licensure and one year of related experience preferred

?  Must be comfortable around Pets

?  Management skills

?  Organizational skills

?  Communication skills

?  Interpersonal skills
