Visa Specialist

Newly created position for international consulting firm. Willing to train the right person! Ideally candidate will posses project management skills and the ability to support international travelers. Excellent communication (verbal and written), organizational and interpersonal skills as well as being a self starter is a must! Visa Specialist is responsible for developing a process and coordinating travel visas/work permits for travelers, especially consultants. Counsels international travelers on what types of work is allowable under a business traveler visa and when a work permit/visa is required.

 

Individual will provide the following support:Act as a single point of contact for all travel visa and work permit inquires in the Midwest office, and as the main contact to consulates and embassies. Work with other office mobility/visa specialists as needed and requested.Help travelers through the travel visa/work permit process by establishing business intent and recommending the type of visa or whether a work permit needed.Assist travelers with filling out forms, writing travel support letters such as letters of guarantee and business cover letters, obtaining invitations from other offices and physically taking documentation to/from consulates as needed.
