POSITION:   Wholesale Operations Manager

 

REPORTS TO:  Director of Wholesale Operations

 

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Wholesale Operations Manager is responsible for providing support for the Wholesale team.  This support includes development, documentation and overall program management. Projects will be assigned that will contribute to the overall success of the Wholesale Division. Responsibilities assigned to this role will contribute towards reaching our Wholesale revenue plan.  This position will communicate and maintain an adherence to standards set forth by the Wholesale Division. 

 

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

? Communicate, maintain and manage compliance with Company standards

? Facilitates smooth information flow and project management with cross functional areas

? Develop tracking and accountability tools

? Develop measurements for program success and monitoring

? Maintains and manages the master calendar of all Wholesale and interdepartmental responsibilities

? Participates in interview of job applicants

? Organizes and reports information in a ?field friendly? format

? Partner with other functional departments to achieve goals

? Involvement with strategic or tactical Task Forces, as requested

? Delivers process improvement throughout the Wholesale Team

? Develops and delivers best practices and distributes to Wholesale Team

? Development and manage training programs for new Wholesale Sales Managers

? Management of controllable expenses

? Provide complete internal and external communication and support of all Wholesale related functions

? Customer centric focus with a sales friendly attitude

? Provides project support as required to support The Wholesale Team

 

SKILLS, ABILITIES, EXPERIENCE & CHARACTERISTICS:

? High School diploma or equivalent

? College degree preferred

? Ability to utilize a personal computer and the Microsoft Office Suite is required

? Experience in the formalwear industry is preferred

? Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

? Skilled at planning and organization on a strategic and tactical level

? Ability to think creatively, problem solving

? Demonstrated analytical skills

? Demonstrated sound business judgment

? Highly organized with a detail orientation and proven follow-up skills

? Demonstrated consistency in the implementation of business strategies
