BASIC PURPOSE:

Responsible for identifying and developing new innovative products and line extensions for the aftermarket/retail business. Analyze market trends, conditions, competitive activity. Conduct research projects and look for sources of new product ideas. Interface with sales, marketing communications, engineering, finance, logistics and forecasting. Meet with customers to present new product concepts that will help them grow their business. Help automotive division meet sales and margin objectives. Manage and optimize product life cycle for existing and new products. Initiate NPR's.

 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

- Proficient computer skills to include:

PowerPoint

Excel spreadsheets

SAP

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

- Bachelor's degree in business or marketing.
- At least 5 years consumer products marketing experience absolutely required.
