ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

The Hacker Group, one of the largest direct marketing agencies on the West Coast and a subsidiary of Foote, Cone & Belding, is looking for a sharp Account Coordinator in our Account Management Department.

 

The Account Coordinator is primarily responsible for managing specific tasks and assignments as a project moves through the production phases.  They will assist the Account Team in maintaining the client-agency relationship and will engage in a partnership role with the Account Executive and the Project Manager to ensure production and client requirements are met.

 

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

 

Essential Functions:

 Support the creative review and approval process.Proof laser mechanical, blueline, and live run material.Coordinate with clients for review of proofs and project control.Maintain control of samples. Ensure all client interactions are conducted professionally.

 

Secondary Functions:

 Support the account team.Perform special assignments and requests.

 

Experience & Expertise:

 Bachelor degree, preferably in marketing.One-two years of direct marketing experience preferred.Well-organized and detail oriented.Communicates effectively, verbally and in writing.Works well with team members and clients.Maintains a high quality of work in a professional manner.Ambitious and customer-focused.  Able to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

 

Knowledge Areas:

 Proofreading, spelling, grammar.Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Listening, following directions, and time management skills.Direct mail production and client service experience a plus.
