Summary:

Serves as a fundraising professional at National Headquarters. At the request of the Director, serve as the nationwide point of contact for CP&CM team campaigns and/or partnership initiatives, support CP&CM team by developing organizational assets, tools and procedures; Assists Cause Marketing Officer in the planning and implementation of strategic fundraising campaigns and/or partnerships as assigned.

Responsibilities:

In this role the Sr. Associate will assist in the creation of unit fundraising policy and marketing materials, develops unit standard operating procedures, and represents unit interests in broader internal policy and business rules discussions. Recommend innovative applications of development resources and human resources to the team and field within budgetary requirements to maximize efficiency of human resources.

Coordinates with other units to educate them on the role of Cause Marketing including field officers and provide Chapters, Service Areas and internal Development Officers with fundraising guidance throughout a disaster. Create and maintain Disaster FAQ's and procedure documents. Build cause marketing value for team by creating a sponsorship/partnership measurement formula, logo style-guide, and other projects as assigned and initiates and manage fundraising programs as needed during disasters. Manage chapter inquiries with varying needs for fundraising support, advice and information, and provide effective mentoring of Chapters with varying capabilities to raise funds in regards to specific chapter fundraising initiatives.

Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 - 5 years experience providing fundraising support, advice and information. Must have excellent written communication skills and have demonstrated multi-dimensional problem-solving techniques - analytical, creative and objective - to meet partner, team and organizational needs. Non-profit experience a plus. Operational flexibility is required to meet business needs and a moderate amount (20 - 30%) of business travel may be required. May be required to work outside the standard established work hours.
