Job Description:

Position Purpose

Responsible for the tactical execution of reviewing sales/financial analyses, identifying trends, scanning business/industry trends and interpreting data.



Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities


Coordinate analysis, gather supply chain best practices and develop strategies in support of supply chain business case development.

Perform day-to-day tactical execution of activities of new forecasting, order replenishment and logistics channel decision processes. Communicate, monitor and improve all processes as needed.

Develop decision support tools and financial models to analyze the cost/benefit tradeoffs of inventory
changes. Develop forecasting tools to support collaborative planning. Conduct day-to-day business analysis supporting the supply chain.

Build strong relationships with business partners and actively support cross functional initiatives to drive improved overall business performance..



Nature and Scope


Typically reports to Mgr Vendor Services

No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the technical leadership of a project work team: may select team members and assess capabilities, provide technical training, provide information necessary to meet work, project



Environmental Job Requirements

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.



Physical Job Requirements

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.






Minimum Qualifications

Must be eighteen years of age or older

Must pass the Drug Test

Must pass the Background Check

Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable



Education Required

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Preferred Qualifications


Project management skills, process analysis, and strong interpersonal skills.

Advanced computer skills to retrieve, manipulate, analyze, and interpret data with experience with MS
Office; MS Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project & statistical software.

Project Management experience and defining business requirements.

Proficient in business process evaluation and procedure development; Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of all tools, processes, methodologies and standards for requirements gathering, documentation and analysis.

Strong quantitative skills - through knowledge of statistics and quantitative data analysis and interpretation;

Six Sigma methodology preferred.

Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to persuade or influence others.

Critical thinking skills to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions; ability to understand
and foresee implications of new information for current and future problem solving.

Ablity to work well with others from various departments and values the perspective team members bring to a project.

Strong communication skills; ability to lead and partner with internal and external resources to drive various
initiatives. Strong conflict management skills.

Strong ability to multitask and handle competing priorities at once.

Strong self starter with ability to work with little supervision
