Account Coordinator - PR

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Client Work: Generate clip reports, media lists, status reports and briefing documents.  Attend client meetings.

Media: Research and maintain speaking/editorial calendars; develop and maintain current targeted media lists, manage flow of information to team, assist with media pitching as required.

Writing: Proofread documents, draft pitch letters

Project Management: Be the glue that holds the account team together.  Assist in news release distribution, mailings, supervise interns, and keep monthly work plans.  Assist in event planning.

Financial: Manage vendor invoices, be aware of client budgets, track time and expenses.

 

Requirements

Effective verbal and written communication skills. The ability to effectively prioritize multiple tasks. Professional demeanor.  Sound judgment. Attention to detail.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Dow Jones News retrieval.  A bachelors degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications or a related field.
