This position is responsible for the growth of the organization through development of new sources of revenue with existing and new clients. This person in this position will be assigned an individual revenue and profit target for their territory.





Scope: Maintain client relationships that result in increased sales of TNS products, solutions and services, as well as increased profits for the company. The amount of business managed varies but $2 million is generally considered to be the minimum. In addition, the Account Directors will assist those Account Executives and Account Representatives reporting into them to achieve their goals.








Essential Responsibilities:





1. Prospect for new business by either developing existing relationships or identifying other potential clients





2. Meet assigned financial targets, both top line and bottom line growth





3. Support Account Executives as needed in achieving their profit and growth goals





4. Assist Account Executives in key client class and penetration of new accounts





5. Follow-up client meetings/ calls with appropriate proposals





6. Ensure Account Executives have individual development plans as well as account plans in order to achieve their goals





7. Regularly review and coach the performance of those that report to you.





8. Develop strategic account plans for specified clients





9. Contribute to the achievement of department goals relative to sales and profits





10. Work effectively with internal teams, e.g. other sector/office staff, business development and marketing, operations, practice areas, etc.





11. Proposal development





12. Work directly with clients to ensure project quality





13. Communicate with Project Directors to ensure client expectations are met





14. Accurate pricing

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:





? 7+ years of market research and sales experience





? Solid understanding of market research design and execution





? Ability to develop product overviews and sales proposals to prospective clients





? Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and oral/written communication skills required





? Leadership/management skills





? Statistical background a plus








? Bachelors degree required; MBA preferred





? Proficient in Microsoft office
