Account Executive - Marketing Communications Firm

BCF is a full capability brand communications firm in Virginia Beach. We are seeking a sharp Account Executive to work on Travel & Tourism and CPG accounts. Our spirit and culture is entrepreneurial, passionately creative, but down to earth ? and nice! Many of our staff are from the major markets, but we choose to live and work in a beach town. We are seeking top talent to work on national and regional accounts.

Responsibilities include:

? Daily contact with clients

? Acquiring an expertise on a brand?s competitive landscape and a client?s business

? Understanding appropriate research techniques for strategy, creative and media needs

? Managing client meetings, status reports and budgets

? Securing approval of production estimates and overseeing production budgets

? Preparing and guiding production plans, job orders and timelines

? Writing marketing plans, contact reports and other materials

? Initiating, presenting and completing special projects and initiatives

? Working to grow and develop the skills and abilities of junior agency staff & interns

Requirements:

? A Bachelor?s degree, preferably marketing-related

? Minimum 2-3 years agency account experience

? Fluid in MicroSoft Office programs (including Excel and PowerPoint)

? Excellent attention to detail, time management and organizational skills

? Prefer experience in Travel & Tourism and Partnership Marketing

? Some travel required
