Account Manager - Direct Marketing

Specialized Marketing Services, Inc., a leading direct response marketing agency in Irvine CA., is looking for an Account Manager to assist in managing a diverse client base.


The successful candidate for this position will have a minimum of 4-6?years proven agency-based experience as an account manager. Career experience primarily in the area of direct response (marketing), with secondary emphasis on marketing communications, and possessing the following skills:



 Proven ability to manage all aspects of day-to-day client project and program activities including all financial aspects (budget, estimating, billing)

 Proven ability to develop long-term client relationships through a complete understanding of the client?s business, and a thorough knowledge of the client?s marketplace and competitive landscape

 Proven ability to recognize additional revenue opportunities with assigned client base

 Proven knowledge of creative,?print production, mailing and lettershop processes a MUST

 Ability to multi task, while also continuing to provide impeccable attention to detail?a MUST

 Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills a MUST

?Strong attention to detail and the ability to understand the big picture

 Proficiency in MS Office required



Bachelor?s degree or equivalent experience is required. Your ability to meet multiple deadlines, to handle a variety of tasks, and to work with a diverse client base is what we?re looking for.
