Account Supervisor/Managing Supervisor, Corporate Communications

Fleishman-Hillard, recently recognized by the Holmes Report as the ?2005 International Agency of the Year," has an immediate opening in Portland for an Account Supervisor/Managing Supervisor to join our growing office.  This position provides a fantastic opportunity for a dynamic, organized, and seasoned professional to grow and work closely with energetic senior management in a fast-paced global market.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The Account Supervisor/Managing Supervisor plays a pivotal role in handling many of the day-to-day logistics for the account team. Responsibilities include working with more senior members of the team to create budgets and forecasts, manage projects and clients, and pursuing new business by contributing to proposals and opportunities. He or she will work as a key team member, providing team leadership and team member counsel and development.

 

Qualifications: Candidates must have six to ten years of experience, preferably gained in an agency environment. The ideal candidate will have interests in a variety of fields, but a strong background in B-to-B is preferred. Specific experience in energy management, industrial products and environments and technical proficiency in industrial systems would be very helpful, but is not required. Candidate must possess excellent relationships with major regional and national media, and have a proven track record of securing placements. Successful candidates will have extensive knowledge of the news and PR professions, with the ability to develop and execute on specialized media relations strategies as needed.A strong ability and desire to manage multiple accounts and assist with new business development opportunities is required. Excellent verbal, analytical, interpersonal and organizational skills are a must.A bachelor?s degree in journalism, communications or related area is preferred.
