Ad Agency - Account Supervisor/Director

An Account Supervisor is responsible for maintenance and long-term management of specific

Client relationships and favorable contacts with current accounts. He/She is focused on the

management of Client needs and expectations in the most efficient and effective way.

 

The Account Supervisor develops strategic plans and provides strategic direction to the Client while

functioning as the Client?s brand steward. He/She leads the team responsible for tactical execution of

Client campaigns, programs and projects to drive the Client?s business utilizing proactive ideas and

solutions as a team player.

 

He/She leads and directs the work of Account Executives and Coordinators and is

partially responsible for team development. In this role he/she assists the Director of

Account Services in conducting annual performance reviews and regular performance

assessments. Likewise he/she serves as Agency ambassador and while serving as a

positive role model for Account Services Team.

 

 

ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the delivery of high quality, strategically sound and thoroughly planned creative campaignsAccurately interpret Client needs and communicate to all members of the account team. Ensure an efficient, on-target response to Client?s needs and anticipate Client?s needsResponsible for the creation, sell-through, execution and evaluation of annual and/or quarterly plans; Includes identification of Client needs and allocation Agency resourcesKeep totally informed of Client business and related market developments.Analyze Client business, products & services, markets and competition; develop marketing plans based on research and competitive analysisManage profitability of assigned account; including authorize budgets/expenditures of Client funds; sign-off on any written-off expenses or billable hours
