Advertising/Media Senior Manager

Professional Responsibilities
?Partner with assigned lines of business (LOB) and brand strategy organization to develop integrated adverting and direct marketing media plans to support long range business requirements and strategic business initiatives.
?Media planning and strategy for LOB partners.
?Integrated marketing team participation.
?Tracking and benchmarking of key performance metrics ? must include media channel optimization.
?Report generation (oversight) and performance forecasting.
?Internal communications management.
?Maintain key relationships with media vendors and development of breakthrough media opportunities.
?Works with media agencies and LOB partners for management of media programs.
?Fiscal management.

Required Skills:
The Senior Manager should possess experience, including recent background in Direct Marketing, with an emphasis on non-mail direct channels.? This role will be a key contributor to the extension of multiple Capital One products into integrated, multi-channel brand focused marketing.?

The successful candidate will likely have one of the following profiles:

?Classic direct marketing and media background within a well-known company and subsequent experience leading his/her organization into direct response marketing.
?Classic marketing and media experience.
?Background in direct response mass media marketing within a top tier company, followed by classic marketing experience within a well-known organization.

Skills and Abilities
?Knowledge of diversified financial services including banking, credit card, lending and investing preferred but not required.
?Relevant past experience must include online and offline media strategy and planning ? cross-platform digital experience is a must.
?Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks
?A willingness to be "hands on".
?Actively researches, learns and incorporates new means and methods whenever and wherever possible to improve processes.
?Strong interpersonal skills
?Excellent communication skills-written and verbal
?Takes initiative, outgoing, not afraid to stretch out of comfort zone
?A sense of urgency and high energy
?Effective negotiator with potential strategic partners

Experience
?8 ? 12 years experience in Direct Marketing, Brand Advertising and Marketing Communications.
?Bachelor degree required (MBA preferred).
?Past agency or agency management experience required (media required, advertising preferred).
?Ability to analyze, track and measure per across all media channels.
?Past online and offline media experience a must
?Technical Knowledge: MS Word - 3+, MS Excel - 3+, MS Powerpoint,? Acrobat - 1 +
