Advertising - Print Media Specialist

The New Jersey Press Association needs print media specialists for their busy advertising service, the New Jersey Newspaper Network. NJNN provides planning and placement assistance to agencies and advertisers seeking to place display ads in multiple newspapers throughout the state, region or country.

 

Join our energetic team of professionals in a small office that represents a big industry. The press association staff totals 19, with 11 devoted to advertising-related responsibilities for a membership of 22 dailies and over 175 weekly newspapers.

 

We're the New Jersey newspaper experts. NJNN print media specialists interact with ad agency media planners/buyers and newspaper account executives, and serve as a single resource to simplify the formulation and execution of a media plan that includes newspapers. Working with NJNN's marketing research manager, the print media specialist can provide fast ZIP code circulation analyses, demographic and supportive research, information on targeted specialty and ethnic publications, as well as rates and costs for custom schedules for any combination of daily and weekly newspapers in New Jersey. In addition, NJNN is networked with other state press associations providing similar services, offering national capabilities. New Jersey's ad service is well-respected and has earned a reputation as one of the top services of its kind in the country.

Requirements:

- A minimum of 1-3 years newspaper planning, buying or sales  experience
