A unique, ground-breaking, fast growing consulting company for the advertising production industry seeks an individual with a futuristic view of the advertising industry who is able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to work as an on-site ADVERTISING PRODUCTION MANAGER for a major client in Westchester, New York.
Your overall responsibility will be assisting our clients and their agencies in the successful management of their advertising production for multiple brands, within multiple media including television, radio, print, outdoor, POS, Internet or branded content. You will work closely with the Clients and their agencies to define advertising production guidelines, cost benchmarks, communication best practices, review creative strategies and then draw upon your experience and our resources to ensure timely and effective execution in partnership with our client?s agencies. QualificationsAt least 10 years producing TV commercials on either the agency or production company side At least 5 years producing print adsStrong Business Affairs background (knowledge of union and non-union contracts in the US and Canada, current issues, etc.)Recent experience working to utilize TV commercial footage for different media like print, internet and various alternative mediaRecent experience working across media within a broadcast dept and print dept.A good knowledge of art buying and print productionAn understanding of the 360 degree marketing needs of an advertiser and how an advertiser?s marketing department functionsAn understanding of online tools such as digital asset management, project rooms, ftp sites, etc., would be helpfulA great personalityMust be willing to collaborate, be part of a team and share knowledgeA person who is organized and detail-oriented to a faultSomeone who can see the big picture as well as the detailsMust be good with all types of people and all levels of managementA good communicator, both in writing and as a speakerWilling and able to travel, if necessaryProficient on the computer (Internet, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
The Client should view you as being proactive and as an extension of their brand marketing team. The Production Manager will be the ?anchor? point of communication and located at the client?s site. The scope of the Production Manager?s responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Broadcast Production (TV/Radio)
? Review estimates for original television and radio productions, revisions, and reconciliations, negotiations and cost evaluations
? Assist marketing and agency personnel to move
? Review talent contract and music licensing agreements
? Be a resource for foreign country production
Print/Outdoor Production
? Provide consultation on print and outdoor production, including cost negotiations for photography and post-production studio fees
Internet Production
? Provide consultation on production of content for internet/client/brand websites, including cost negotiations for photography, videos, usage rights, music, stock images, etc.
Asset Management and Database Administration
? Input production costs and schedule data into the Digital Data Repository (DDR) cost and scheduling database
? Issue analyses and reports within the system
Leveraging Creative
? Help define a leveraging creative process for the client to create efficiencies and cost savings
? Look for opportunities to pool productions with vendors, across brands and across agencies
? Work with agencies to ensure that talent rights and options are negotiated, reported, and filed appropriately
Administration
? Administer stewardship reports including savings, learnings and best practices
? Assist with record keeping and inventory of props and wardrobe to charities
? Assist the Brand Executive Producer in maintaining job folders and production wrap sheets
? Assist in training sessions for marketing departments on production
? Update client and agency contact lists and distribute accordingly
Office SkillsMust have strong working knowledge of MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook
