SUMMARY:
The Advertising & Promotions Manager is responsible for the direction, development, planning and implementation of all advertising and marketing communications projects that support the Americas business strategy. This position manages a team of professionals, as well as external agencies and vendors, in support of the marketing communications function. This role will create and execute advertising and promotions strategies that support business goals, public image, core values, and products. This role oversees the design and production of external communications, advertisements, product collateral, merchandise, etc. The Advertising and Promotions Manager also provides communications support to various business units/departments. This position serves as a driving force in creating and implementing effective communication strategies, consistent message content, and message timing to support Aristocrat?s business objectives and global brand strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES: includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.

? Manage all marketing communications services and activities for the Americas.
? Police ATI Branding in accordance with Global Branding Policy.
? Manages all advertising efforts for the Americas business units. Works with outside agencies, internal resources to develop advertising campaigns that support the business and product promotions in accordance with the global brand strategy. Works with trade and consumer publications to ensure appropriate placement of advertisements.
? Manages the development, production and fulfillment of all collateral material including game slicks, product brochures, posters, point of sale materials, promotion materials, etc.
? Manages development, production and fulfillment of promotional merchandise.
? Oversees Aristocrat?s participation in trade conferences and summits. Works with conference management to secure appropriate sponsorship exposure. Ensures appropriate product and materials are available.
? Develops and manages all e-marketing efforts including regional website content management, email blasts, and e-surveys (Flash Facts, etc.)
? Develops and manages departmental budget. Oversees tracking and forecasting of monthly budget expenses.


EDUCATION:
Position requires a bachelor degree in advertising, marketing or communications or its equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:
Requires three to five years of advertising or marketing communications management. Gaming related experience preferred. State of Nevada Gaming workcard and valid Nevada Drivers License required.

SKILLS:
Highly developed written and oral communication skills. Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate about complex, technical information. Ability to assimilate information from a variety of sources. Solid advertising and graphic design experience. Print production experience. Experience managing large-scale trade events. Ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadline. Attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread. Excellent time management and organizational skills are required. General knowledge of office equipment; computer literate, advanced knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, Power Point.
