Agency Account Coordinator / Project Manager (SEA)

POSITION SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Senior Account Manager, the Project Manager will manage the day-to-day administration and activities of assigned projects for the Account Service and Creative teams and traffics and directs the flow of work between departments and agency personnel to ensure that error-free work is delivered on time. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

? Assist the account and creative teams in managing direct mail and collateral campaigns and projects from conception through completion

? Manage sub-projects or portions of a project, keeping the necessary individuals abreast of status, specifically trafficking and managing sales and creative duties

? Conduct research, provide input and make recommendations to the account & creative team in the initial project planning phase for assigned clients

? Obtain pricing from all departments, create and issue creative vendor purchase orders, prepare client quotations, collect vendor invoices and prepare final billing for each project

? Generate project schedules and route creative rounds through agency departments and personnel to successfully meet established deadlines

? Maintain files on assigned clients including: correspondence, approvals, copy, forms/documents; production quotes/purchase orders, supplies, and competitor and industry information

? Manage administrative activities for assigned clients, including handling mail/packages, creating conference reports, preparing correspondence, and other administrative duties as assigned or requested by clients

? Reviews copy, artwork, bluelines, sign-offs, and color keys to ensure that all work meets agency and client specifications

? Serves as the primary internal client liaison in the absence of the Account Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Good understanding and experience in direct marketing techniques, print and production processes and postal regulations

? Good creative skills, including visual and writing skills

? Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a flexible, dynamic and fast-paced environment

? Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

? Excellent organization, prioritization, and project management skills

? Highly motivated self-starter, with a positive, can-do attitude

? Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word

? BA/BS Marketing or Communications degree

? Minimum of 2 years direct marketing agency or advertising agency experience at account coordinator/traffic coordinator level or above
