Proofreader Needed for Advertising Agency, Downtown


Start ASAP through November 2006 (there is the possibility of longer term)

You would be working in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment (and required overtime means lots of extra cash!).

This is not just any proofreading position. We are looking for the best!

If you have proofreading experience, are super-organized, possess superior attention to detail, and have print production knowledge or familiarity please contact us immediately (by applying to this posting).

Duties include:
Check all proofs for 100% accuracy and consistency with art and copy in regard to spelling, grammar, punctuation, format, usage/syntax, legal disclaimers and restrictions, typography, design/type specs, grids, folios and pagination during all stages of production; correct typographical and language-usage errors

Check all internal and external/client changes on proofs and ensure that all corrections were done properly and no new errors/problems, unacceptable re-flowing of copy or lines breaks or other problems occurred.
This Agency works with a variety of well-known retail clients to provide print design and production services.
Agency experience a plus!

You will be required to take and pass a proofreading assessment.
