Location: Santa Barbara, CA or Cambridge, MA

Essential/Key Areas of Responsibility: To identify, secure and manage partnerships that increase Sonos addressable market.Support Sonos mission to deliver a great digital music experience that just works anywhere in the home, controlled from the palm of your hand.Analyze market data to identify trends and opportunitiesGather and synthesize requirements from customers, analyze market and technology and match this against available solutions via partnering. Might involve make-versus-buy analysis.Develop a partner strategy that enhances the product offering and delivers an increase of the target market for Sonos.Ensure that partner strategy is aligned with product roadmap and planningDevelop clear partner penetration strategy with identification of champion and executive sponsorshipManage partner relationship and ensure good alignment between internal organization and partner.Negotiate contracts and potential licensingManage post-deal product integration and alignment with partnersGlobal coverage with main focus on music services and content integration

Essential/Job Requirements:Higher educational level (university degree)5 plus years experience in Alliance ManagementExperience in consumer products, software or services with strong preference for audio/music space.Excellent marketing, business and technical analysis skillsAbility to communicate and co-ordinate with a variety of teams internally and with partner, including product development, marketing and sales.Leader and decisive action oriented individual who develops and delivers on strategic alliances, who takes ownership and translates to clear deliverables.
