Alternative Investment Marketing Manager

Your job involves being a strong customer-centric, experienced marketing manager in Alternative Investments for the US Wealth Management business of a leading global financial firm. You will develop and implement profitable, customer-centric marketing programs that build and strengthen the brand's relationship with its customers and align with overall business goals, across all productions in the Alternative Investments Group. The customer-centric programs are both for internal customers (e.g. Financial Advisor Network) and for external clients. You will tailor programs for a target audience, including client, Financial Advisors and Home office segments or sub-segments, and identify ways to support/deliver the UBS Client experience. You will develop full-range internal and external communications in support of marketing campaigns for Investment Solutions including Senior Management Presentations, Internal Communications and Sales Support Materials, Product Literature, and Client Communications. You will define and create tracking mechanisms to evaluate the success of the overall program and individual program elements. You will also forecast and manage the budget across all campaigns. You will promote the use of customer insight obtained from market research, customer analytics, predictive modeling and customer insight management. You will also supervise the activities of a marketing associate while managing the execution of campaigns and coordinating the development of internal and external communications with writers/editors dedicated to Investment Solutions Product Marketing which includes Alternative Investments.

Basic Qualifications
You are a professional with 10-12 years of experience in marketing strategy and execution, including managing mature products and launching new products. Your work experience includes exposure to multiple forms of communication: advertising, direct marketing, promotion, and public relations. You have an MBA or a Bachelors degree in Marketing with relevant experience. You have experience managing small teams directly and influencing internal business partners. You have a general understanding of the financial services industry and the brokerage business. You have your financial services licenses (Series 7 and Series 24 preferred) or the willingness to obtain them, if necessary. You are proficient in Microsoft Software, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Office. You have experience with marketing managed accounts in portfolio analysis.
You are an autonomous self-starter with sound judgment regarding effective marketing strategies and when to seek guidance and management support. You are highly flexible and comfortable working with ambiguity, frequently changing timeframes and short deadlines. You are highly analytical in that you are able to leverage both quantitative and qualitative date sources to drive recommendations. You are a terrific team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to coordinate with individuals of all professional levels and diverse experiences. You are client service oriented and dedicated to responsiveness. You are an independent thinker, yet accountable. You are a team player who enjoys making individual contributions to complex, multi-dimensional projects. You are responsible, committed to success, collaborative and comfortable with change.
