This is a direct hire opportunity for an Analyst with a specialty in online marketing and advertising for a leading interactive agency in the west Los Angeles area.

Responsibilities include analyzing online advertising metrics including campaigns and web traffic to help make recommendations for client strategies and presentations. This position is within a collaborative, team-oriented environment. You'll be the Strategy team's primary contact for online marketing and advertising analytics.

Online Marketing and Advertising Analytics:
? Pull, analyze and help present campaign metrics, with an emphasis on what story the numbers tell and how the data informs strategic decisions regarding clients' online advertising strategies.
? Help the team and client devise ways to test different attributes of various campaigns, and help the team execute, analyze and report on the results of tests.
? Work with online media planners to help shape the strategic direction of campaigns and provide data and analysis that directly inform online media buys.
? Continuously help the team improve and optimize campaigns.
? Help present results to client.
? Remain abreast of cutting-edge trends in online advertising analysis and reporting and apply solutions to client problems.

Website Analytics:
? Pull, analyze and help present site metrics, with an emphasis on what story the numbers tell and how the data informs strategic decisions regarding clients' online marketing strategies.
? Remain abreast of cutting-edge trends in site metrics analysis and reporting and apply solutions to client problems.

Qualifications:
? Experience creating and/or analyzing online advertising campaigns
? Strong logic, problem solving, data interpretation and analytical skills, interpreting results and recommending courses of action.
? Strong communication, writing and presentation skills.
? Knowledge of e-business and e-commerce applications, concepts and services.
? Familiarity with Internet secondary research sources preferred (e.g., Forrester, Jupiter, etc.).
? Bachelor degree.
? Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
? 1-3 years of business experience, ideally from the strategy group of a top web development agency, e-business consultancy, advertising agency, brand agency or consulting firm.
? Willingness to travel.
