Assistant Manager, Product - Supplements

Supports management of the Supplement product line to ensure profitability and growth, manages cross-functional teams with Purchasing, R&D, Operations, Project Management and Sales, monitors dietary supplement market environment, interprets syndicated market scan data such as IRI, understands customer and competitor product mixes, coordinates new product activities into live products, assists with creation of label copy, package development and pricing, performs P&L calculations for product line, aligns with Project Management team to ensure timely new product launches, supports Account Marketing and Sales teams with new product sell-in process.

 

Responsibilities:

Supports new product process for Supplements.  Coordinates new product activities into live products, assists with creation of label copy, package development and pricing, aligns with Project Management team to ensure timely new product launches. Assists in the management of cross-functional teams with Purchasing, R&D, Operations, Project Management and Sales.  Performs analytical research projects assigned by management. Supports Account Marketing and Sales teams with new product sell-in process. Supports sales cycles with presentations and support materials. Interprets syndicated market scan data such as IRI, understands customer product mixes.  Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor?s degree with Marketing emphasis or equivalent experience required. 

One to three years experience in marketing of consumer packaged goods (dietary supplements preferred). Advanced knowledge of marketing and analytical principles.  Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal and external resources to accomplish established objectives in organizations.  Highly developed written/verbal communication skills as well as attention to detail.  PC skills including Office Suite.
