Marketing Assistant

JOB SUMMARY
Provide a variety of administrative duties to support the timely execution of marketing plans and projects. Coordinates and assists with planning of events for the international department. Provide administrative support for the international department and act as a back up to the customer service function as necessary.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Marketing Duties:
1. Coordinates, prepares and is instrumental in the planning for int'l events - creates binder, initiates registration, etc.
2. Attends and works various events (as needed) to support staff at dealer meetings, trade shows, consumer shows, and other industry events
3. Handles claims and all communication in regards to the International Rewards Program
4. Manages image library and responds to all requests for high and low resolution images
5. POS - Prepares documentation and communicates all point of sale information
6. Marketing Materials - communicates all marketing materials
7. FTP Site - Organize and maintain the FTP site for distributor, subsidiary, and vendor use
8. Other assignments as requested and required

Sales / Customer Service Duties:
1. Manages the new distributor set-up process including new customer database and correspondence
2. Tracks PWC warranty and rebates
3. Performs PC analytical projects as required
4. Provides back-up support for the international customer service representatives as needed
5. Tracks and prepares reports on status of returnable crates

Administrative Duties:
1. Supports the international department
2. Maintains and organizes international publications and pricing files
3. Organizes and prepares department mailings
4. Reproduction of CD's, Burn CD's of product brochures, slides, etc. as needed
5. Researches information and supporting data in preparation for meetings, work projects and reports
6. Receives and assists visitors and telephone callers and refers to appropriate person as circumstances warrant
7. Maintains up to date fax speed dials and contact lists, both internal and external
8. Schedules appointments and maintains up to date office calendars
9. Arranges business itineraries and coordinates travel requirements with corporate travel office
10. Assists with and in some cases initiates and completes reports and presentations for various internal and external meetings including PowerPoint Presentations, Excel Spreadsheets, Static and Video images
11. Makes recommendations for and initiates the purchase of supplies and equipment needed by Staff
12. Mailing of Marketing materials, sales aids, CD's, etc.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
1. Four year degree plus 2 years customer service experience
2. Excellent organization, communication, administrative and team work skills are required
3. Ability to take direction, work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects and operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining a professional and cooperative attitude due to the fast growth opportunity of this division
4. Proficient PC skills (70 wpm) including working knowledge of all Microsoft software
5. Ability to write effectively, clearly and grammatically correct correspondence
6. Excellent communication skills including professional receptionist skills and telephone etiquette
7. Ability to maintain confidentiality
WORKING CONDITIONS AND OTHER
1. Fast paced office environment
2. Some travel involved - approximately 10%



Requirements:

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
1. Four year degree plus 2 years customer service experience
2. Excellent organization, communication, administrative and team work skills are required
3. Ability to take direction, work independently, manage multiple tasks and projects and operate with a sense of urgency while maintaining a professional and cooperative attitude due to the fast growth opportunity of this division
