Assistant Vice President, Investor Relations

Manpower International, which is the world's leading professional search firm, is seeking to hire an Assistant Vice President, Investor Relations for one of it's leading public relations clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Service
- Draft releases, conference call scripts and client memoranda
- Develop and refine client messages and investment appeals
- Monitor research and news for clients, peers and industry
- Develop relationships with analysts and investors in the industries you are covering
- Gain analyst and investor introductions for clients; attend investor meetings and/or conferences with clients
- Develop investor presentations
- Conduct investor perception studies

Strategy & Planning
- Anticipate potentially difficult situations and be able to evaluate alternatives with senior management
- Assist senior team members in creatively preparing and executing communications programs and game plans
- Demonstrate insight into client needs and concerns
- Identify emerging opportunities to add more value for the client

Key Requirements:

- Minimum of four years investor relations, Wall Street or related experience
- Excellent writing skills
- Strong time and priority management skills; ability to juggle multiple client accounts
- Ability to communicate information effectively and accurately, verbally or in writing
- Up-to-date knowledge of the financial markets, regulations, investment styles
- Understanding of the corporate earnings process for public companies
- Possess a high level of integrity and sensitivity to confidential information
- Computer proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
Desired Experience:
- Previous experience working with technology, telecom and/or retail companies desired (not required)
